I should be born Scandinavian - part 3

Next up was to move to Malmö, and, if possible, visit Copenhagen. I visited a good friend of mine, Aiste, and she is the one behind most of the photos you can see down here, especially from Copenhagen. Many thanks!

I was greeted in Malmö by a rather odd sign - no skateboarding

More Malmö

Quite unfortunate logo...

Sudnspromenaden

And Turning Torso. By the way, the tallest building in all Scandinavia.

After a couple of wonderful days, filled with tasting locally brewed beer, trying some other foods and even making the pizza on our own, playing PS3 and Assasins Creed 3: Black Flag, Bayonetta, watching "The Crow", washing and drying up clothes, and lot and lots of walking, walking, walking, it was time for Copenhagen. Aiste agreed to be my guide for the day. And boy, was that a trip.

However, before we started, we were held back by an unexpected visitor from next-door neighbors :)

Slowly, but surely on the way to the train station.

Just some UFO.

And Copenhagen it is!

Guess who I saw - Scientologists! I was wondering if I should take their test, but I passed.

It does not count as seeing Denmark, if you don't encounter and enter a LEGO store.

I felt like a child once more.

Trolls!

Horses!

Chocolate! Wait, what? Yep. Chocolate!

These guys were dancing to the music of 'I'm too sexy'.

I am a great fan of lists. Some (Aiste ;)) even make fun of me because of that. And this one here is something I should definitely get my hands on. Or write one of my own.

So, in case you didn't get it, you can flip this wall anyway you want it, and arrange it however you wish. It is called "Happy Wall" for a reason :)

After walking for a while, we found an opportunity to take a tour around the canals of Copenhagen. It was leaving soon, it was cheap, it was a must.

View for Christiania

Little Mermaid.

Here is when it got interesting with the light...

Altogether: I greatly recommend anyone visiting this city to get to Nyhavn and get on a boat. Absolutely worth it.

Hello, little fella! He looked like a stuffed one for a second ;)

Some twilight view from Rundetaaran - The Round Tower.

Lego again!

From here we would actually go to visit Christiania. If you read about it a little bit up, you will understand, that unfortunately we could not get any photos from that place. But take it from me - Christiania has an undescribable charm. Another must see.

Hello, Hans Christian Andersen. It was a long time since I read your tales...

Tivoli Park on the way back was being stormed by people.

Peculiar design at Malmö train station, don't you agree?

And just on my way to get to the airport in Copenhagen, a pheasant decided that this area would be perfect for feeding, nesting or whatever he was looking for.

Thank you, Aiste, Helene, Karolina, Matthew, Axel, Alex, Brook, Victor, Danielle, Amy, Tarja and dozens of others, whose names I did not remember, for showing me Skåne and Copenhagen. I will bring back the best memories of my life.

And to all of you - travel, my good friends. You just might find a place, where you belong.
